Lucky Me

You knew I'd have another one this Sunday, didn't you? Well, okay. Maybe I'm just overwhelmed by the holiday onslaught (Halloween down, two more to go) or maybe it's reading the Bible that's opening me up to God's voice. At any rate, this morning we sang Chris Tomlin's "Indescribable," one of my favorite worship songs. This is the line that got me:

"You see the depths of my heart and You love me the same."

Wow. Really? Really. All those little things that I think would alienate me from everyone else, all the things that I won't even admit to myself. He knows them, and He still loves me. But more importantly, He loves me the same. The same. It seems impossible. But then again, I guess that's what He's all about.
